About E-CASS
Environmental and Climate Action South Sudan (E-CASS) is a national woman and youth-led non-governmental organization founded on August 20th, 2020 and dedicated to advancing community-driven environmental protection, climate resilience, conservation, sustainable livelihoods, and peacebuilding across South Sudan.
Our work sits at the intersection of:
• Climate action
• Environmental and wildlife conservation
• Food security and sustainable livelihoods
• Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)
• Community resilience and disaster preparedness
• Environmental governance and peacebuilding
We recognize that climate change, poverty, environmental degradation, and conflict are interconnected challenges, requiring integrated and locally led responses. Through partnerships with communities, government institutions, civil society, and international partners, E-CASS implements evidence-based, locally driven environmental solutions.
